Start with customer-supplied STL, STEP, or OBJ files or engineering drawings for size and surface review, SLA printing and post-processing, a mold-ready master, or LargeForm 25–35 cm.

Master-Model Routes for Mold Development

The route depends on the customer-supplied file or engineering drawing, geometry, size, surface requirement, tolerance, and intended mold-development handoff.

  • SLA Print and Post-Process

    Customer-supplied STL, STEP, or OBJ files or engineering drawings can be reviewed for SLA printing and project-specific post-processing.

  • LargeForm 25–35 cm

    LargeForm 25–35 cm is a defined production-system entry point that still requires project-specific review.

  • Mold-Ready Master Handoff

    The requested surface, tolerance, and mold-ready master handoff are reviewed in the context of the next mold-development stage.

A Defined Master-Model Review

The route is confirmed only after the available source and downstream use are understood.

  1. Review Customer-Supplied Files

    Identify the current STL, STEP, OBJ, or engineering drawing and its revision status.

  2. Review Size, Surface, and Tolerance

    Review the target dimensions, requested surface, and project-specific tolerance before selecting a route.

  3. Print and Post-Process

    Align the SLA or LargeForm route and the project-specific post-processing required for the master.

  4. Confirm the Mold-Ready Handoff

    Confirm how the finished master will be reviewed and used in the mold-development stage.

The Size Range Is an Entry Point, Not a Blanket Promise

Final process fit, surface, and tolerance depend on the customer-supplied source, geometry, dimensions, and required handoff. Free modeling, CAD creation, or STL creation is not included.
